Virat Kohli is regarded as the best batter of his generation, with him scoring over 26,000 runs in 17 years of international cricket. One of the most hardworking players of all time, the Indian legend accused people of mixing up hard work and struggle. 

Talking to Gaurav Kapoor in a talk show, Virat Kohli said he never struggled in his career. The former Indian captain claimed that he couldn’t use words like “struggle” or “sacrifices” because he never needed to, adding he does what he loves.

He added that people who struggle are the ones who face real problems in life. Kohli also accused many players of glorifying hard work and branding it as struggles. He stated he is grateful to play cricket as a profession.

Rinku Singh tries getting another bat from Virat Kohli 

Virat Kohli gifted Indian teammate and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star, Rinku Singh, one of his bats after Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) loss to them on 29th March. Before they faced off at the Eden Gardens on 21st April, Singh approached Kohli for a new bat. 

Singh revealed to Kohli that he broke the gifted bat during a training session against a spinner. Kohli asked from where it broke and Singh showed. The rising star started checking out two bats of Kohli, which the Indian legend commented were not good. 

Singh tried to get a new bat from Kohli, but the RCB star denied, joking that he’ll get in trouble if he keeps on giving anymore bats. Singh then swore on Kohli’s life that he won’t break another bat. 

Singh played an integral role in their win against RCB. Coming in to bat at number 6, the star smacked 24 off 16, helping his team to a total of 222. Meanwhile, Kohli scored 18 off 7, but his dismissal was quite the controversial one
