Watch: Paul George moves to 11th in NBA's all-time made threes

Paul George has moved to 11th on the NBA's all-time three-point list. The veteran forward scored his 2,222nd three-point bucket during Sunday's LA Clippers game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He is now only 60 made threes behind Jason Terry, who occupies the 10th spot on the list. He would only need nine more makes to surpass Vince Carter in ninth.

Ironically, George's history-making bucket came at the expense of the Sixers, who are rumored to be interested in potentially acquiring the veteran should he become available in free agency. He has a player option worth $48.7M for next season but may opt out of his deal to secure longer-term financial security.

George, 33, is a future Hall of Famer. He is a nine-time All-Star. He is one of the most talented forwards in the NBA and among the most talented in the league's history. Yet, an NBA championship has alluded to him throughout his career. That's something he likely aims to change this season.

The Clippers have an All-Star core. George is joined by Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and Russell Westbrook as future Hall of Fame talents within Ty Lue's rotation. They currently sit fourth in the Western Conference. With so much talent at their disposal, the Clippers will undoubtedly be a juggernaut in the playoffs.

If George can add a championship to his resume, he will likely be seen as one of the best to ever suit up in his position. He's already showcasing his greatness and etching his name in history books. Yet it's a championship ring that would elevate him to a new level, just as it has for countless other stars throughout the years.
